I'm Back

Well, it has been a long time since I posted anything on my blog.  The room that I had been working in to make cards has a new use now and I have had to work out a new area.  It took a while to get there, but I have been having a great time making cards again.  Boy, did I miss it.

Here are some of the cards that I made last year.

This was a card from my kids to their grandpa.  They liked to think that they were the giraffes.

Just really like this floral paper.  I think using the red to accent the turquoise worked out great.

I enjoyed trying this technique, but cutting each of these strips was a lot of work and the resulting card is not really my style.

This was one of the first times I used heat embossing.  I love how it looks, but I definitely need to practice more.

Still love that Create A Critter cartridge, but now I have my own.  I just think the octopus is so cute.  I mean who would not want a pirate octopus card.

I just love this digi.  You can see all of Sliekje's free digis at her blog - sliekje.blogspot.com.  She has some really cute animals.

I will be back next time talking about the OWH Sketch challenge.  It is lots of fun and lasts all year.
